I do love a wedding. I also love a very well-dressed wedding guest. Weddings hold that sweet spot of forever photos you’ll dote on for years to come, so while brides are unlikely to go trendy, guests most definitely can. For SS24 designers amped the runway with statement gowns, metallics and prints proving that occasion dressing is very much back en vogue. As ever, my edit leans towards forever pieces you’ll keep in your wardrobe for future events too. I’ve considered fabric, style and silhouette and added in a lot of timeless past season gems too.
Microdose on Roses
Abstract, painterly, zingy! Florals are definitively groundbreaking this season. The rose has been interpreted in varying silhouettes, embellishments and prints for SS24. Sculptural petals burst from the body like roses in bloom while acidic colours of oversized rose prints feel futuristic. What returned as a mere rosette last year is now flourishing centre stage.
