It’s what you leave off that counts
When I look for inspiration, I always tend to look to the past. Below we have Ines de la Fressange, the first woman to wear Levi 501s with a Chanel jacket who remains the very essence of French chic. It’s this high-low contrast that I continually reference in my own styling: pairing the unexpected is so much more chic to my mind’s eye.
A boxy little jacket is a perfect spring piece that never tires and this season plenty of designers have their own versions. Paired with a classic Breton tee and a statement belt, this is an easy formula to replicate.
With a few tweaks, lets update this look for 2024….
